Function

Select usage of Eagle software visualization turning off specified Windows GDI facilities.

Parameters

d

Switch off firmware dashing so that all future dash patterns will be displayed via Eagle software and  ignoring any dash facilities available Windows GDI.

 

 

h

Switch off  firmware cross-hatching and pattern fills off so that all future hatching or filling will be displayed via Eagle software, ignoring any hatch facilities available facilities available in Windows GDI.

 

 

f

Switch firmware solid fills off so that all future polygon filling will be displayed via program software, ignoring any fill facilities available through firmware in the graphics terminal.

Switch firmware text off so that all future text display uses the Eagle software font sets (extension FNT).  The alternative is to use Windows Fonts set using the FIRMWARE T command option.
Each time a SOFTWARE T is issued an automatic redraw is invoked to ensure current display of the appropriate font set.

Notes

Firmware (Windows GDI) is used by default for Dashes, Hatching and Fills on at program startup whilst Eagle fonts (SOFTWARE T) will be default at startup for all annotation and dimension text.  

 

The setting can be reversed via the FIRMWARE command.
