Function

Split a compound graphic item in the model workspace into its individual sub-items. This is the opposite of the JOIN command.

When applied to and Profile type item this command expands these items into their individual components creating one or more curve entities.

Parameters

Delete the original Profile item.  This option is only available when the SPLIT is applied to Profile items

Notes

All graphic items in the partition within the current model workspace will be split so that they are no longer compounds, and are subsequently selectable as individual entities. If the partition is not on, all items in the foreground will be split.

When applied to Profile type items, all Profile items in the partition within the current model workspace will be expanded into their individual components, creating one or more Curve entities. [Update X4 [OCC])
